About the Company

Digital Diagnostics (formerly known as IDX) became the leading Company to receive FDA clearance for an A.I. diagnostic platform that makes a diagnosis without physician input.

Digital Diagnostics is the premier FDA-cleared AI diagnostic platform that world-renowned Dr. Abramoff had envisioned years earlier. The platform, called IDX-DR, detects diabetic retinopathy and macular edema in primary care. After completing a rigorous perspective (find another word for this), a pre-registered clinical trial at primary care sites across the country, IDX-DR became the first FDA-cleared AI diagnostic system to make a diagnosis without physician input. Digital Diagnostics is in use at over twenty health systems, and their customers have tested thousands and identified hundreds of patients with diabetic retinopathy and macular edema. They aim to launch additional A.I. platforms for the detection of diseases unseen by the eye.

Challenge

We were tasked with a full brand refresh and web redesign within four months. Initially, we outlined the foremost objectives and deadlines [one month brand discovery, one month UX/UI design, two months web development]. And helped with the project’s visual and development phases.

Process

Digital Diagnostics primarily focuses on eye scans for their product. Founder & CEO Dr. Abramoff directed us to incorporate and combine eye, A.I., and technology elements in one approachable and straightforward logo. We began with logo exploration. This direction was successful by combining simplistic forms with a definite idea.

Helped our leading Senior Developer to build the site. Primarily developed a login page and distributor portal where Digital Diagnostics employees could log in and share documents, client info, and payrolls—built small custom components around the entire site and worked on the accessibility of the site to meet A.A. standards.

Conclusion

Currently, we are working on a Digital Diagnostics learning platform, where new employees can onboard and learn essentials about the IDX-DR platform. Moving forward, we do regular work on web maintenance and brand support for the client.
